Introduction
The MPPT7 Series Solar Charge Controller is a multi-stage Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) photovoltaic battery charge controller designed with advanced MPPT technology. It intelligently adjusts the solar panel operating point to continuously extract the maximum available power and efficiently charge the battery system.
General Description
The controller adopts a high-efficiency Buck conversion circuit and uses an MCU to monitor and optimize the solar panel operating voltage in real time. When environmental conditions such as sunlight, temperature, or humidity change, the controller recalculates the Maximum Power Point (MPP) and automatically adjusts the panel operating point to maintain maximum energy harvest. Compared with traditional PWM controllers, the MPPT7 Series can increase solar power utilization by approximately 5%–30%, depending on panel characteristics and operating conditions.
Smart MPPT Power Tracking
Using an intelligent MPPT algorithm, the controller continuously tracks the optimum operating point of the solar array. This ensures that the panels deliver the highest possible output even when solar irradiance and temperature fluctuate throughout the day.
Higher Charging Efficiency
Compared with conventional PWM charge controllers, the MPPT7 Series significantly improves charging performance by converting excess panel voltage into usable charging current. This allows faster battery charging and better overall energy utilization from the solar array.
