Introduction
Maxima has put together a complete solar PV system including high efficient DC airconditioner of 1 T for quick and easy system configuration.
General Description
Airconditioning load is probably the most energy-intensive load within any household. Configuring a system that incorporates not only highly efficient airconditioning but also matching solar energy systems that maximize the overall efficiency, could be pretty daunting. This kit by Maximas incorporates a system design that uses extremely efficient air conditioners with a DC source while maintaining the overall integrity of the system by matching a solar system to the required load type.
DC Compressors
MAXIMA uses a hermetically sealed Brush Less DC (BLDC) compressor that is known for being extremely efficient. A driving circuit uses 48VDC as a required source to run the compressor. This eliminates power conversion requirements – which are inherently inefficient – and has all the features of variable speed, variable flow airconditioners that are driven by inverters.
MPPT Solar
The solar system provided tracks the maximum power that is available from the solar panels and delivers that power to the DC Bus (48Vdc) which in turn delivers the power to the load. The system is configured to smartly manage the power flow; meaning if the load is ON then the power flows directly to the load avoiding the charge/discharge cycle on the battery. Moreover, all the unused power in excess of the load is delivered to the battery bank for later use.
Advance design in AirCon
Maxima uses patented micro-controllers to control DC compressors using a sophisticated algorithm that regulates electrical flow based on changing demand and environmental conditions. It uses tubes with internal grooving to maximize heat transfer and reduce energy wastage. The micro-fins use a golden hydrophilic coat that maintains their performance even in an extremely corrosive and saline environment.
