The display provides readings for battery, inverter, and solar parameters, and these exact parameters can also be retrieved using a smartphone or any other Bluetooth-enabled device through the Victron Connect app.

Power Assist and Power Control Modes

You can establish a maximum grid or generator current limit, which the Multi RS utilizes in conjunction with other AC loads to safeguard against overloading (Power Control function). Power Assist, an extension of this concept, supplements insufficient grid or generator power with battery power during peak demand, recharging the battery when demand decreases.

Extendable PV Capacity (AC and DC Coupling)

The integrated 6 kWp PV capacity can be extended by adding solar chargers to the system. Alternatively, the PV capacity can be extended by installing PV Inverters, of which the output power will be automatically controlled by the integrated frequency shift power control.
