Introduction
DC/AC clamp meters utilize contactless technology to gauge current flowing through the clamps, allowing measurement of both DC and AC currents, while also retaining essential functions such as voltage, continuity, and resistance measurements.
General Description
Hioki’s CM4375-50 clamp meter: 1000 A AC/DC True RMS, slim jaw for narrow gaps, IP54 protection, high-voltage DC measurement up to 2000 V (*1) for electrical and solar equipment inspections.
High Voltage Measures For PV Installations
IR4053 features a PV resistance function without the need for shorting PV strings which may lead to dangerous arc discharges – even while PV plant is generating power.
Harmonics Measures
When combined with GENNECT Cross (*2), you can perform simple harmonic analysis. Applications include problem analysis of power supply systems.
InRush and Transient Currents Measurements
The clamp meters can measure RMS inrush current and maximum crest values simultaneously, automatically detecting inrush duration for accurate readings, crucial for motor installation and maintenance to prevent circuit breaker tripping, especially with high-efficiency motors.
